Ben’s career in carpentry began in 2018 while working for a small Minneapolis- based design-build firm where he was part of a small team of talented carpenters. He was able to work on a wide range of projects including kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, and house flips. Through these projects Ben discovered a passion for drywall finishing and began to specialize in drywall projects. He launched his own home remodeling business in Bozeman, MT allowing him to dive into the hard skills of carpentry and the soft skills of working with clients. 

In Bozeman, he was introduced to the art of limestone plaster finishing by a company called New Age Artisans. While working with them, he learned the technique of limestone wall finishes and the more complex process of Tadelakt to produce beautiful limestone showers. Ben recommends plaster wall finishes to anyone he meets because of its abilities to elevate a space in ways that paint can not.

Natalie & Ben moved to Vermont in September of 2021 and launched Yohen Home Renovation together as a team.

We take pride in our communication skills, attention to detail, and hitting our deadlines. Our goal is to leave each project with a smile on the client’s face.

During our free time, you can find us xc skiing, mountain biking/hiking, cooking/baking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
